Purpose

The SAP Central Process Scheduling application by Redwood supports event-driven and dynamic processes by automatically monitoring your environment and starting or managing processes and process chains. It offers complete, centralized management of all business processes, including scheduled or batch processes.

Prerequisites

You have performed the setup for the integrated version of SAP Central Process Scheduling by Redwood.

Process Flow

       1.      The user refers to the Web browser to connect to SAP Central Process Scheduling by Redwood. The URL is usually http://<host>:<port>/scheduler. <host> and <port> relate to SAP NetWeaver AS Java, this is where SAP Central Process Scheduling by Redwood  is installed.

       2.      From this browser you can schedule and manage jobs and job chains. This determines when and in which part of your system landscape the jobs are to run.  Successfully completed jobs and job chains are clearly displayed in the browser.

       3.      You can display the job log and spool list centrally, meaning that it is no longer necessary to log on to the AS ABAP for this activity.
