To enable communication between the SAP systems, you have to create an RFC user. The RFC user in the application client enables multiple RFC connections.

Skip this activity if an RFC user has already been created.

Procedure

  1. Log on to your SAP ERP system and call transaction SU01.

  2. In the User field, enter <your RFCUSER>.

  3. Choose Create (F8).

  4. Enter the required information:

    Address tab page

    Last Name

    <RFCUSER>

    Logon data tab page

    User Type

    select System

    Password

    <your password>

    Profiles tab page

    Profile

    SAP_ALL

    S_BI-WX_RFC

    For the SAP BI system: S_BI-WHM_RFC

    Defaults tab page

    Logon Language

    EN

  5. Save your entries.
