Setting Parameters for Using Parallelization 

Use

Parallelization of ADS (Adobe Document Services) requests must be explicitly activated through optional API parameter and configuration steps. Parallelization will not be activated automatically via an upgrade. This will ensure compatibility to existing customer implementations.

Activities

Parallelization of ADS requests can be used from applications, if they set the optional parameter IE_OUTPUTPARAMS FIELD ‘PARALLEL’ in the functional unit FP_JOB_OPEN.
