Media links serve to view binary content of the file that has been assigned to the feed or entry the user is navigating to.
In the Business Workflow service, reading media links serves the following purposes:
To view the customized icon for the Workflow item's Workflow ID and Step ID.
To view the customized icon for the Workflow item and the decision key's Workflow ID and Step ID.
To view content of a Workflow item attachment.
To view content of a Business Object requester note that is linked to the Workflow item.
To view content of a Business Object attachment that is linked to the Workflow item.
To view content of a comment that is linked to the Workflow item.
In your SAP system, open transaction SE80.
On the left pane, choose MIME Repository.
Navigate to the appropriate folder.
To use icons customized for the Workflow SAP Gateway services, go to Icon MIME Repository Path field displays all images stored in this folder.
. When customizing icons, the search option for theTo add a picture of the work item initiator, you must store the image in the folder:
. The file name must follow the following format: <user name>.xxx, where xxx is a file extension of type image.Select the folder, right-click, and select Import MIME Objects.
Browse to the desired file and choose Open.
Check that the following is true:
The Doc. Class is Image Object.
The Name is <user name>.xxx, where xxx is a file extension of type image.
The MIME Type contains the format image/*.
Choose Save.
In your SAP system, open transaction SPRO.
Choose SAP Reference IMG.
Select
.In the Step Name table, check that the Workflow ID and Step ID have already been customized. If they are customized, enter the path to the icon in the Icon MIME Repository Path field. (Pressing F4 on this field displays all the icons located in the MIME Repository folder at .) If not, choose New Entries and enter the Workflow ID and Step ID details.
Choose Save.
In your SAP system, open transaction SPRO.
Choose SAP Reference IMG.
Select
.In the Step Name table, check that the Workflow ID and Step ID have already been customized. If not, choose New Entries and enter the Workflow ID and Step ID details.
Select the row containing the desired Workflow ID and Step ID.
In the Dialog Structure pane double-click Decision Keys. If the decision key has already been customized, enter the path of the icon in the Icon MIME Repository Path field. (Pressing F4 on this field displays all the icons located in the MIME Repository folder at .) If not, click New Entries and enter the details of the decision key.
Choose Save.
