If you want to create a system alias for an SAP Business Workflow (BWF) system, use the RFC destination of type 3 (ABAP Backend).

(A TCM-compliant task provider is typically one that provides a respective OData service.)

All destinations must either be trusted (for BPM and BWF), or using logon tickets (for TCM).

    • Under Software Version, use the input help (F4) and select the relevant data provider (software version), for example, /IWPGW/BWF for an SAP Business Worfklow (BWF) system, /IWPGW/BPM for an SAP Business Process Management (BPM) system, or /IWPGW/TCM for a system providing a Task Consumption Model (TCM)-compliant task provider.
