Procedure

Define Structure of Data Screens for Each Screen Sequence

In the Customizing, choose   Logistics - General   Material Master   Configuring the Material Master   Define Structure of Data Screens for Each Screen Sequence  . Then proceed with the following steps:

  1. Select the screen sequence used by the customer (for example, Z4). Do not change any of the screen sequences delivered by SAP (for example, 23, 33). If necessary, you can copy a screen sequence delivered by SAP into the customer namespace.

  2. Double-click Data Screens.

  3. Use the pushbutton New Entries to insert a new data screen, with the following information:

  4. Use Back (F3) to return to the display of the data screens.

  5. Select the newly inserted data screen.

  6. Select the node Subscreens with a double click.

  7. In the field Scr. of an unused line, replace subscreen 0001 with 2010; in the field Program, replace program SAPLMGD2 with SAPLFSH_ARTICLE_MASTER.

  8. Save your changes.

Define Structure of Data Screens for Each Screen Sequence

In the Customizing, choose   Logistics - General   Material Master   Configuring the Material Master   Define Structure of Data Screens for Each Screen Sequence  . Then proceed with the following steps:

  1. Select the screen sequence used by the customer (for example, Z4). Do not change any of the screen sequences delivered by SAP (for example, 23, 33). If necessary, you can copy a screen sequence delivered by SAP into the customer namespace.

  2. Double-click Data Screens.

  3. Use the pushbutton New Entries to insert a new data screen, with the following information:

  4. Use Back (F3) to return to the display of the data screens.

  5. Select the newly inserted data screen.

  6. Select the node Subscreens with a double click.

  7. In the field Scr. of an unused line, replace subscreen 0001 with 3000; in the field Program, replace program SAPLMGD2 with SAPLFSH_ARTICLE_MASTER.

  8. In the field Scr. of another unused line, replace subscreen 0001 with 4000; in the field Program, replace program SAPLMGD2 with SAPLFSH_ARTICLE_MASTER.

  9. In the field Scr. of another unused line, replace subscreen 0001 with 4010; in the field Program, replace program SAPLMGD2 with SAPLFSH_ARTICLE_MASTER.

  10. Save your changes.

Assign Secondary Screens

In the Customizing, choose   Logistics - General   Material Master   Configuring the Material Master   Assign Secondary Screens  . Then proceed with the following steps:

  1. Select the screen sequence defined earlier (for example, Z4), and choose the pushbutton Details.

  2. In the line with the new data screen (for example, 24) for Weights and Volumes (example), choose Create Pushbutton FCode, whereby an automatically assigned FCode, for example, PB03, should be shown.

  3. In the line with the new data screen (for example, 24) for Weights and Volumes (example), choose the pushbutton Add to Additional Screens, whereby a number automatically assigned to the additional screen, for example, 12, should appear in the column Additional.

  4. Save your changes.

  5. In the line with the new data screen (for example, 25) for Sales-Segmentation (example), choose Create Pushbutton FCode, whereby an automatically assigned FCode, for example, PB04, should be shown.

  6. In the line with the new data screen (for example, 25) for Sales-Segmentation (example), choose the pushbutton Add to Additional Screens, whereby a number automatically assigned to the additional screen, for example, 13, should appear in the column Additional.

  7. Save your changes.

  8. In the line with the new data screen (for example, 26) for Segmentation-Sales status (example), enter the FCode PB66.

    Note Note

    As function code PB66 is assigned to Segmentation-Sales Status (example) button. Hence, the function code PB66 has to be manually assigned.

Maintain Order of Main and Additional Screens

In the Customizing, choose   Logistics - General   Material Master   Configuring the Material Master   Maintain Order of Main and Additional Screens  . Then proceed with the following steps:

  1. Select the screen sequence defined earlier (for example, Z4), and choose the pushbutton Details.

  2. In the screen area Order of Main Screens, you can move the new data screen (for example, 21) for retail between the tab page for sales and the tab page for purchasing. You do this by reducing the position number (for example, from 100 to 10) and choosing the pushbutton Sort Main Screens.

  3. In the screen area Order of Addnl Screens, you can move the new data screen (for example, 24) for the textile composition between the tab page for the short texts and the tab page for the units of measure. You do this by reducing the position number (for example, from 120 to 15) and choosing the pushbutton Sort Addnl Screens.

  4. Save your changes.

    • Check that the changed screen sequence (for example, Z4) is assigned to your user, and that it is applied in correspondence with all influencing factors (Customizing activity Assign Screen Sequences to User/Article Type/Transaction/Industry Sector) when article maintenance is called.

    • Call article maintenance (transaction MM43/MM42) to check that, in the view Basic Data, via the pushbutton Additional Data, a new tab page is available that contains the subscreen for retail with segmentation data.

Assign Screen Sequences to User/Material Type/Transaction/Industry Sector

In the Customizing, choose   Logistics - General   Material Master   Configuring the Material Master   Assign Screen Sequences to User/Material Type/Transaction/Industry Sector  . Then proceed with the following steps:

  1. Use the pushbutton New Entries to assign a new screen sequence to one or more new combinations of transactions, users, material types, and/or industry sectors. You can use the screen sequence defined in the previous procedure (for example, Z4) as the SSq.

  2. Save your changes.

Activate New Pushbuttons

  1. Execute transaction SM30.

  2. Enter V_T133D as the Table/View and choose Edit.

  3. Choose New Entries and enter the information in the following table:
