The system allows you to carry out a physical inventory of your company’s warehouse stocks for balance sheet purposes. For materials with segmentation, you can maintain the inventory for different stock segments. Stock segment is attached to a batch and thus batch management is mandatory in Physical Inventory.

When you enter the materials for which you want to carry out physical inventory, the system determines the stock segment based on the batch number.
