You can see the stock overview for a generic article (with variants) in a tree structure with one of the following as input:

  • Site Group

  • Site

  • Storage Location

  • Special Stock

  • Batch

  • Segment-Based Batch

  • Seasons-Based Batch

If you provide a generic article, you can view all the variants along with the generic article in the result screen. If you provide one or more variants, you can view the generic article and the selected variant in the result screen.

  • Generic Article > Variant > Site > Storage Location

You can activate the business switch SFSW_SEGMENTATION to view the stock at the additional levels Batch or Segment-Based Batch:

  • Generic Article > Variant > Site > Storage Location > Stock Segment > Batch

Note Note

If you did not activate the business switch SFSW_SEGMENTATION and you have set the user parameter, you can view the generic-variant tree structure only at the Base Site Group, Site, Storage Location, and Special stock level.

Procedure

  1. Goto transaction RWBE.

  2. In the Stock Overview screen, enter the generic article or merchandise category. If you have activated the business switch SFSW_SEGMENTATION, you can view the stock at stock segment level.

  3. Choose the List Display tab.

  4. In the List as section, choose Tree Structure. By selecting this option, you view the stock in a hierarchy. In the Display Levels section, by default, the Base Site Group, Site, and Storage Location are selected.

  5. To view the stock for the generic article at other levels, choose Special Stock, Batch, Segment-Based Batch. Batch levels are available only if the business switch SFSW_SEGMENTATION is activated.

Note Note

If you do not select the Batch option, you can view the stock overview only at the Storage Location level for the article. If you do not select the Storage Location option and select only the Batch option, the storage location and plant details are automatically selected.

Result

If you have not activated the switch for segmentation and not set the user parameters, you can view generic article or variant based on the input provided. You can view the variants in variant split screen.

If you have not activated the switch for segmentation but set the user parameter WGEN_VAR, the tree structure displays the nodes in the following sequence:

  • Generic article > Variant > Site > Storage Location

If you have activated the switch for segmentation and set the user parameters, the tree structure displays the nodes in the following sequence (based on the display levels selected):

  • Generic article > Variant > Site > Storage Location > Batch (Batch level is selected)

Or

  • Generic article > Variant > Site > Storage Location > Segment and Batch (Segment-Based Batch level is selected)

If you have activated the switch for segmentation and not set the user parameters, you can view generic article or variant based on the input provided. You can view the variants in variant split screen. If you provide a generic article in the Article Selection screen, the system displays the batch and segment details for the variants of the selected generic article in the variant split screen. If you provide one or more variants in the Article Selection screen, the system displays the batch and segment information for the selected variants in the tree structure.

  • Variant > Site > Storage Location > Stock Segment and Batch (Segment-Based Batch level is selected)
