Extractor Logic

The extract structures for hierarchy header, header texts, node texts, and ranges are the following standard extract structures: ROSHIERSEL, ROSHIETEXT, ROSFOLDERT, and ROSHIEINTV. The extract structure for nodes is made up of the standard extract structure ROSHIENODE as an include, enhanced by the fields listed in the table above. The extractor USMDZ_HIERARCHY_TRANSFER_HCLAS reads the values for these fields from the generated tables of the activated data model. It does not directly access the database tables, but instead accesses an abstraction level that is provided by methods of the class CL_USMD_MODEL_EXT. The abstraction level is used to establish a connection (with the same name) to the extraction structure and to fill the fields.
