You use this Customizing screen to specify which Key Figure of the InfoProvider to display as a column of the results table in your maintenance view.

Activities

You can make the following settings in this Customizing screen:

  • Sequence: determines the sequence in which columns are displayed in the results table. A results table is made of different column types: InfoObject column, InfoProvider column, and Virtual column. At runtime, the sequence number of each of these columns merge together to determine the final display sequence.

  • Hide Attribute: prevents a column from being visible in the results table of the MDP view. You can hide a column to set a default value for the attribute or the Key Figure during the creation of new master data.

  • Input Enable: indicates that the user can make an entry in the field.

  • Unit/Currency Information: when a column contains an amount or quantity that requires a currency or a unit of measure, you need to specify the attribute that contains this currency or unit of measure in order to display the value correctly.

  • Initial Value: indicates the default attribute value or Key Figure value used during the creation of new master data.

  • Copy Attribute Rule: specifies the copy rule to be used for an attribute or a Key Figure when a row is copied.

  • Weighting Factor: indicates whether the column is used in the calculation of the ranking index. To use a column in the calculation of the ranking index, the column must contain a numerical value, for example, the column should be a Key Figure or a virtual calculated column.

  • Allow Negative: indicates whether a negative value can be entered for an attribute of type Key Figure.
