This query displays the fixed and variable costs for a material in a plant across multiple periods, as well as the total costs in released material cost estimates. This enables you to track the changes in the fixed and variable costs.

To display the cost component split, you must expand cost component group 1 and/or the cost components.

This query restricts characteristics for which each value could have a cost estimate or cost component split for each material, costing date, and costing variant. Without these restrictions, the cost estimates or cost component splits would be added together in the query. For example, the cost estimates for the valuation views legal valuation and group valuation would be added.

Some characteristics were restricted to just one typical value. For the others, you must choose the value when you start the query. If you want to restrict characteristics to values other than the preselected values, copy this query and modify the copy accordingly. This can be particularly useful when you want to define a query that contains one of the following pieces of information:

• Cost component split of the type auxiliary (such as of the primary cost component split)
• Display of cost estimates with other currency types and valuation views (if you use multiple valuations)
