This key figure specifies the variable bonus payment that a retailer receives, based on scanner data. The retailer benefits from this bonus twice over if they sell the manufacturer’s products to the best of their ability; on the one hand from the increased sales revenue and on the other from the bonus itself. Thanks to the bonus the manufacturer is able to influence the way the retailer displays the goods and then finally sells them.
