Force Element 
Characteristic: 0DF_FORCE
This characteristic specifies the force element. A force element corresponds to each organizational unit within an organization. From a semantics perspective, it corresponds to the characteristic Organizational Unit (0ORGUNIT) in the Organizational Management (HR-OM) area.
To be able to use hierarchies for the force element in SAP Business Information Warehouse (SAP BW), you have to configure the extraction based on the Force Element (Hierarchies) (0DF_IS_DFS_24) DataSource. To do so, carry out the following steps in Customizing for SAP BW and the connected source system:
Hierarchy Customizing in the source system
Call up the table view maintenance transaction (transaction code SM30) for table /ISDFPS/T_BI_EVP.
Enter the following information:
An existing evaluation path, for example, ORGEH or DFPS*
A freely definable hierarchy class, for example, STD
An existing force element as a root node for this hierarchy. If several root nodes exist, you can define them by making an entry for each root node. The evaluation path and hierarchy class are the same.
Link the Force Element (Hierarchies) (0DF_IS_DFS_24) DataSource with the master data InfoSource Force Element (0DF_FORCE) of the InfoObject Force Element (0DF_FORCE) in SAP BW.
Adjust the transfer rules for the InfoSource in SAP BW
In SAP BW, start the Administrator Workbench (transaction code RSA1) and choose InfoSources under Modeling.
Create hierarchy transfer rules for the force element for the hierarchy header and for the hierarchy node. If necessary, activate InfoObjects from the general Business Content, for example 0STARTLEVEL.
Create InfoPackages for the InfoSource in SAP BW
In SAP BW, start the Administrator Workbench (transaction code RSA1) and choose InfoSources under Modeling.
Create an InfoPackage for the hierarchy for the Force Element (0DF_FORCE) InfoObject.
The system generates a selection of existing hierarchies from the Customizing settings in the source system.
