In all of the queries that are based on this InfoCube, you can branch to the query G/L: Balances, Period Breakdown. You can then explain the cumulative balance of a G/L account or a higher financial statement item in detail. The period view shows the allocation of the balance to the individual posting periods.

The query G/L: Balances, Period Breakdown is not however assigned to a role, and does not appear in a workbook. When you activate the Business Information Warehouse from roles and workbooks, you should also ensure that you activate this query.
