Technical name: SAP_BW_CO_PA_REPORT_DEMO

Tasks

The Queries contained in this role can be used to display data from the InfoCube CO-PA: Quickstart (S_GO), which is based on the operating concern template Quickstart (S_GO). This operating concern template is a basic operating concern delivered by SAP for demonstration purposes.

The DemoQueries display the generated example data and can be used to demonstrate the different ways of analyzing data from Profitability Analysis.

Notes on Tailoring

You first need to make some settings in the R/3 System so that data can be displayed using the DemoQueries:

  1. In Customizing for Profitability Analysis, switch to the environment for the operating concern templates by choosing Structures ® Define Operating Concern ® Operating Concern Templates ® Use SAP Operating Concern Template.
  2. Choose Template Quickstart S_GO.
  3. Generate example data for the template by choosing Application examples ® Prepare application examples ® Create example data.
  4. Connect the operating concern template Quickstart (S_GO) to the InfoCube CO-PA: Quickstart (S_GO). Proceed as described under Customizing ® SAP BW Connection ® This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.
  5. Extract the example data into SAP BW.

If a user with this role is to be assigned Queries that can be used productively, you need to delete the DemoQueries from the role and replace them with the user-defined Queries.
