There are some situations when you cannot submit the eDocuments to the tax authorities due to technical issues or temporary unavailability of the tax authorities' web services. If you are using the eDocument Full solution for Peru, you can ensure the continuity of your business processes by making use of the contingency feature. The following situations can occur:
When submitting an eDocument to the tax authorities you realize that there are technical problems and there is no acknowledgment from the tax authority that the document has been received. In that case, you can switch this single eDocument to contingency.
You know that it will not be possible to submit the eDocuments to the tax authorities for a certain period of time. In that case, you can define in Customizing that all eDocuments of certain eDocument types are created in contingency mode. Once the regular submitting of documents is working again, you can deactivate this setting.
In both situations, the eDocuments you created under contingency cannot be electronically transmitted. Instead, you can continue with your business transactions by printing the documents in prenumbered forms.
You have already submitted an eDocument in the Create and Submit eDocument
report (EDOC_COCKPIT
transaction) and it has the SENT
status. For more information, see Creating and Submitting an eDocument.
In the output screen of the Create and Submit eDocument
report (EDOC_COCKPIT
transaction), select the eDocument and go to .
The system cancels the eDocument and sets its status to CANC
. To avoid gaps in the numbering, the official number which was assigned to the eDocument is kept in the system.
You cancel the source document in Sales and Distribution
(SD), for example by using the VF11
transaction.
In SD, create a new SD billing document for the same outbound delivery that the cancelled eDocument referred to. You can use the VF01
transaction for that.
The system creates a new eDocument of type PE_CONT
.
You can proceed the business transaction by printing this document in a prenumbered form. You use the IDCP
transaction for that purpose.
To define that all eDocuments of a given eDocument type are temporarily created in contingency mode, you make settings in Customizing for eDocuments in the SAP Customizing Implementation Guide under
.All eDocuments that you create after you have activated the contingency modus in Customizing are of PE_CONT
type. You proceed with their processing using the IDCP
transaction.
For more information, see the information for this Customizing view directly in the system.
