 Costs in Collective Orders

Use

You can calculate planned costs and actual costs for any orders within a collective order.

Prerequisites

In the definition of the order type (Customizing for Shop Floor Control, by choosing Start of the navigation path Master data Next navigation step Order Next navigation step Define Order Types End of the navigation path ) you can use the indicator Coll.ord.process to determine how costs are to be settled in the collective order.

Features

Planned Costs

If the indicator Collective order with goods movements

  • Is set, then the directly produced assemblies are evaluated using the price-determination strategy in product costing

  • Is not set, the price of the directly produced assemblies is evaluated using the order costing for the relevant orders

Actual costs

If the indicator Collective order with goods movements

  • Is set, then automatic goods movements take place between the production orders in a collective order. This means that a subordinate production order delivers the material it has produced to stock. At the same time as the goods receipt posting, a goods issue posting is made for the superior order. During the posting of the goods movement

  • costs are credited to the subordinate order

  • costs are debited from the superior order

  • Is not set then no automatic goods movements take place between the production orders In the closing period, the costs collected per order are then settled to the superior order.
