To be able to delete a specification, the specification must not be:
Used by another specification as the source in a reference or inheritance relationship
Part of the composition of another specification
Part of a listing (for example, hazardous ingredients)
Used in a report

Manage User Exits
, you can also define a user exit (user exit category SUB_USED, where-used list) that executes a where-used list when you want to delete a specification. The where-used list supplied in the standard system checks whether a material was assigned to the specification (function module C1F2_SUBSTANCES_USED_BY_MAT).
Search for the specification you want to delete by executing one of the following procedures:
A set of specifications appears in the form of a hit list if the SAP system finds data records matching the search criteria of the manual search or query, or if the set of hits loaded contains specifications that exist in the system.
Note
If the specifications you are searching for are not contained in the hit list or if the search result contains too many hits, you can fine-tune the hit list (see also Basic Functions in the Hit List ).
Select the specifications you want to delete and choose
.Save your entries.
