 Status Change Documents

Use

Any status changes that occur when an order is processed can be recorded in the form of status change documents.

A status change document records,

  • Which status was changed

  • Who changed the status

  • When the status was changed

  • Whether the status was activated or deactivated

  • In which transaction the status change occurred

In the production order you can define statuses for the following objects:

  • Order header

  • Operation

  • Material component

  • Production Resources and Tools

You can specify that status change documents are to be created for any of these objects.

Note Note

For performance reasons we recommend that you activate status change documents only at order header level.
