The Substances
dialog box in EH&S Open Content Connector (EH&S OCC)
allows you to do the following:
Update the selection of substances you made in the specification workbench
Make settings for your data selection – separately for each substance or for groups of substances
Start the data upload
The Substances
dialog box is part of EH&S OCC
.
The Substances
dialog box appears when you start EH&S OCC if you selected more than one substance in the specification workbench.
The Substances
dialog box lists the specifications you selected in the specification workbench. In the standard system, the specifications are ready for data import and thus marked with (Load Data
). The dialog box offers the following additional options for working with EH&S OCC
:
You can remove individual substances from this selection by clicking the (Load Data
) icon next to the substance. The icon then switches to (No Load
).
You can change the settings for the data import by selecting one or more specifications and choosing the Set Filters
(Set Filters for Selected Substances
) pushbutton at the bottom of the dialog box. The Settings
dialog then box appears.
You can view the data for your selection in the EH&S Open Content Connector dialog box. To do this, choose ( (Display Data
)) at the bottom of the dialog box.
Note
You make the final decision as to which of the data offered by the content provider you want to save in your database in the EH&S Open Content Connector
dialog box. In the preceding dialog boxes Substances
and Settings
, you make a preliminary selection at specification and value assignment type level. In the EH&S Open Content Connector
dialog box, you make the selection at the level of characteristic instances.
To load the data from the content provider directly from the Substances
dialog box without any checks or selection, choose Auto Load
(Load Selected Substances Automatically
).
Note
The Auto Load
function must not be used for substance groups. Since the EH&S Open Content Connector
cannot decide which of the substance groups are to be loaded, the user must select them manually. To subsequently load substance groups manually, proceed as described under Substance Groups.
