If you have assigned production resources/tools (PRTs) to an order operation, you can define how many PRTs you require and which usage value each PRT has.
If you use PRTs for an order, there may be some cases where you have to:
Specify the quantity of PRTs of one category
Example
You need two hammer drills to repair a building.
Specify the usage value of the PRTs
The usage value helps you to determine the degree of wear and tear of a PRT during use. Entering a usage value is important if, for example, the PRT will be worn out after having been used a particular number of times and will need to be refurbished.
Example
You need the two hammer drills for a total of 200 holes.
You can also manage PRTs using forms.
