 Display of the Action Log


You use the Action log function if you want to obtain an overview of all the changes that were made to fields during the processing of an order.


In the Customizing for Maintenance Orders , you must activate the creation of status change documents and field change documents under Start of the navigation path Functions and Settings for Order Types Next navigation step Define Change Docs, Collective Purc. Req. Indicator, Operation No. Interval End of the navigation path .


The action log shows you:

  • When changes were made (date and time)

  • Who made the changes

  • The sub-object to which changes were made

  • Which fields were changed

  • Which data the fields contained before the change

  • Which data the fields contain after the change


You call up the Action log function in the order by choosing Start of the navigation path Extras Next navigation step Documents for order Next navigation step Action log End of the navigation path .
