 When are Notification Screens Ready for Input?

In the overall completion confirmation, the notification screens are sometimes ready for input and sometimes not.

A basic prerequisite for the notification screens to be ready for input, is that a confirmation profile that contains notification screens must be selected.

The notification screens are ready for input in the following cases:

  • You call up an order with a header notification, i.e. a notification is assigned to the order header.

or

  • You call up an order without a header notification, but you have specified a notification type in the user default values in the order.

or

  • You call up an order without a header notification, but there is a notification type specified for the relevant order type in Customizing under Plant Maintenance and Customer Service -> Define Notification and Order Integration .

The notification screens are not ready for input in the following cases:

  • You call up an order without a header notification, and you have not specified a notification type in the user default values in the order.

and

  • You call up an order without a header notification, and you have not maintained a notification type for the relevant order type in Customizing under Plant Maintenance and Customer Service -> Define Notification and Order Integration .
