Function documentation Adjusting Supplying Sites for Several Shops Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You use this function if you want to adapt supplying sites for a range of shops. Reasons to make adjustments like these could be, for example:

·        You are using a new distribution center.

·        Other business or strategic reasons for you to adapt the supply chain.

You can make a cross-shop change to the supplying site to allow you to react promptly to changes in the general logistics conditions.

Features

If you create a new shop, the system automatically transfers the data from the supplying site for the department store so that no manual assignment is required.
In individual cases, manual adjustments can be required when processing a large number of shops with supplying sites. You can select the relevant shops using department stores, categories or the supply region.

Note

You can only change supplying sites that apply across merchandise categories, as the system does not transfer supplying sites at merchandise category level when it creates shops.

You can only make high priority changes to supplying sites.

Alternatively, you can use standard processing for site master data to change the supplying sites for one individual shop.

Activities

On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Logistics ® Retailing ® Master Data  ® Site Data ® Department Store/Shop ® Mass Changes to Shops ® Change Delivering Site.
