Use
Once you have created a
billing document in the system, you can print out the appropriate business document (known in Sales and Distribution (SD) as output) in the approved format using the generic output functions. For example, when you create a invoice, you can print a combined invoice/tax invoice from it (see Tax Invoices).Features
Country Version Thailand comes with a single
output type that is specifically for output in Thailand, J1H1.You can request this output type from various types of billing document (for a complete list, see below). The system then prints out the correct output automatically. For example, if you request output for a customer invoice, the system prints an invoice/tax invoice. If you request output for a debit memo, the system prints out a debit memo.
The output meets Thai business and legal requirements. For example, the name of the output (for example, "Invoice/Tax Invoice" or "Debit Memo") is printed at the top of the printout. And tax invoices also show the appropriate tax invoice numbers.
Activities
Customizing
Set up the output control so that you can print the tax invoices from billing documents. Country Version Thailand comes with an output type for tax invoices in SD, J1H1. This output type is assigned to the layout set RVINVOICETH and the standard printing program RVADIN01.
You can check and change the Customizing settings in Customizing for SD, by choosing Basic Functions ® Output Control ® Output Determination ® Output Determination Using the Condition Technique ® Maintain Output Determination for Billing Documents ® Maintain Output Types.
Day-to-Day Activities
When you
create a billing document and release it to Financial Accounting (FI), the system automatically creates an accounting document (as described in Entering Customer Invoices, for example). You can then either print out the business document from the billing document in SD – for more information about which see below – or from the accounting document in FI (see Correspondence).Documents that you print from billing documents show more information than those that you print from accounting documents: They itemize the individual goods or services.
To print the output from the billing document, request output of the type J1H1. For more information, see
Output Processing. The system prints the output that is appropriate to the billing document type, as follows:
