Template Handling

You can use templates so that you do not have to enter all the attributes of the assignments manually when you create new node assignments in the article hierarchy. The copy template of the new assignment is entered as a reference as standard.

Generic Article Handling

Generic articles and variants of generic articles represent independent articles in SAP Retail and can therefore be assigned flexibly to the article hierarchy.

The first time a generic article is assigned, all article variants of the generic article are assigned to the same node. You can change this assignment at variant level. You have the following options when changing the assignment of the generic article:

·        You reassign all variants of the generic article as well.

All variants are reassigned, irrespective of whether they are assigned to the same node or to a different node.

·        You select the variants of the generic article that you want to reassign.

A list of all variants of the generic article to be reassigned is displayed and you can select the variants that you want to reassign.
