Configuring Navigation OptionsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

  • You are assigned the Workspaces System Administration role.

  • Navigation items in this menu navigate to the respective items using .../irj/portal without specifying an alias. So that items display correctly on a mobile device, you need to make sure that the menu item takes the user to the Tablet Framework Page. In the Master Rule Collection, make sure that the Tablet Portal Desktop is connected to a rule based on a device type or device group, and not based on an alias.

Context

When viewing enterprise workspaces on a tablet device, the Actions icon provides end users with a menu that contains actions such as Refresh and Log Off. Workspace administrators can add items to this menu, allowing workspace users to navigate in the following manner:

  • From a mobile homepage to the Workspace Directory or to the portal.

  • From a workspace to the Workspace Directory or to the portal.

  • From the Workspace Directory to the portal.

Procedure

  1. In the portal, go to Start of the navigation path Workspace Administration Next navigation step Configuration Next navigation step Features Next navigation step Navigation Options for Mobile Devices End of the navigation path.
  2. Set the following properties as required:

    • Enable Navigation from Mobile Homepage to Portal

    • Enable Navigation from Mobile Homepage to Workspace

    • Enable Navigation from Workspace to Portal

    • Enable Navigation from Workspace to Workspace Directory

    • Enable Navigation from Workspace Directory to Portal

Results

The specified items appear in the Actions menu at runtime.
