You create a KM News channel to display Knowledge Management (KM) news and Web Page Composer articles in an enterprise feed.
Knowledge Management (KM) is installed on your system.
You know which folder/namespace you want to access in the KM system.
The enterprise feed in which to create the channel has been created.
You are assigned the portal Content Admin role.
In the portal, navigate to
.In the Portal Catalog, select the enterprise feed in which to create the channel.
In the context menu of the enterprise feed, choose
.In the Channels tab, choose New.
In the list of Available Templates, select KM News Channel.
Choose Next.
Choose Finish.
In the Channels table, select the KM News channel you created, and choose Open.
The Property editor opens.
In the Show Category combo box, select KM News.
Choose Modify Properties, and modify property values as required:

Sort Order |
The order in which to sort the items returned by this channel: Ascending or Descending. |
In the Show Category combo box, select All Properties.
In the Icon URI property, enter the URI of the icon to display for this channel. By default the value of this property is empty, and a default icon is used.
Valid formats are: GIF, PNG, JPEG.
Enter either the full path ( http://...), a path that is relative to the application, such as /<application name>/images/<file>, or a PCD path in the Web Resource Repository (use the Copy ID option).
Use the Sort Priority property to determine the order in which this channel is displayed in the feed at runtime, when the display mode of the enterprise feed that contains the channel is By Channel.
Save your changes.
Navigate back to the enterprise feed.
You can create additional channels, and open or remove existing channels.
