Configuring the Enterprise Feed Module TemplateLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

You are assigned the portal Content Admin role and the Workspace Content Administration role.

Context

Enterprise workspaces come with a module template, named Enterprise Feed, for displaying enterprise feeds.

An enterprise feed is a container that enables you to aggregate content items from different channels. A channel is a content source that provides content items (or entries). The channel types provided by SAP include: Knowledge Management (KM) News, RSS, and Universal Worklist. You define enterprise feeds and their channels in the portal.

In enterprise workspaces, each Enterprise Feed module can display a single enterprise feed.

In the Enterprise Feed module template, you can configure the maximum number of entries that is returned by each channel in the feed.

Procedure

  1. In the portal, navigate to Start of the navigation path Workspace Administration Next navigation step Module Templates End of the navigation path.
  2. Select the Enterprise Feed module template, and choose Edit.
  3. Select the Additional Properties tab.
  4. Locate the Number of Entries in Grouped View property, and specify the maximum number of entries returned by each channel in the feed.

    If this number is also defined for channels in the enterprise feed, then the lower number is retrieved.

  5. Choose Done.
