If you have trouble logging on with SNC Client Encryption, check the following:

  • The client user is logged on in the Windows domain.

  • Check the service principal name entered in the Microsoft Active Directory server for the ABAP system.

    For more information, see Preparing the AS ABAP.

  • In the user interface for SAP GUI for Windows client, check the service principal name and realm. The realm is case sensitive.

  • Check that the environment variable SNC_LIB of the client host system is set to <Install_Path_SAP_GUI>\FrontEnd\SapGui\Encryption\secgss.dll

  • Check the log files on the client and server host systems

  • Enable the trace
