E-mail templates for all types of outgoing e-mails generated by the wiki application are included in the shipment.

You can customize e-mail templates using FreeMarker syntax (search the World Wide Web for the FreeMarker manual). The subject input field is a text box instead of a text field so that you can embed code to customize the subject line of the e-mail template.

Procedure

  1. From the wiki administration console, choose   System   Settings.  

  2. In the navigation pane, choose Email Templates.

  3. To open an e-mail template, choose with the quick info text Edit Email Template in the row next to the template name.

Changing an E-Mail Template

  1. Adapt the template's locale, its subject, or the body text as required.

  2. Choose Save Changes.

Adding a New E-Mail Template

You can create a new e-mail template by adapting an existing one and saving it as a new template.

  1. Overwrite the source template as required.

  2. Choose Add Template.
