Use

You can manage the code-based permissions of the applications deployed on the AS Java.

Code-based permissions enable you to specify application components that can access keystore views or their content.

Procedure

Managing the Domains that Have a Certain Permission

...

       1.      In the Certificates and Keys tool, go to Security Domains per Permission.

       2.      From the Actions dropdown menu, select the required action.

Note

Some actions require you to select a keystore view on which the action must be performed. Some actions also require you to select an entry or property from the selected keystore view.

Note

When you select an action, the components that have been granted this action appear at the top of the list bellow and are marked with the This graphic is explained in the accompanying text (Granted) icon.

      To grant the action to a domain, select the domain from the list below and choose the Grant button. As a result the domain is marked with the This graphic is explained in the accompanying text (Granted) icon.

      To remove the action from a domain that already has it, select the domain and choose the Deny button.

Managing the Permissions of a Selected Domain

       1.      In the Certificates and Keys tool, go to Security Permissions per Domain.

As a result the system lists all available domains.

       2.      Select the required domain. All the permissions that this domain has are displayed below the list of domains.

       3.      To change the permissions of the selected domain, choose the Modify button.

      To remove a single permission, select the permission and choose the Deny Permission button.

      To remove all permissions at the same time, choose the Deny All Permissions button.

      To add a new permission, choose the Grant New Permission button. In the dialog that appears, enter the required data for the new permission.
