Transport Routes
Depending on your release and your configuration, you use either transaction SE06 or TMS to define your transport routes. Note the following:
· In Release 3.1, you can use either the transaction SE06 or TMS.
· As of Release 4.0, you must use TMS.
You define the transport routes in the transport layers for your development classes. First, you define transport layers, where you specify integration and consolidation systems. You then assign a transport layer to each of your development classes. All objects belonging to the development class are then transported along this route.

information, see
Configuring the
Transport Routes.

Prior to Release 4.5, you must also enter the systems in the TPPARAM file at the operating system level. As of Release 4.5, the transport configuration is generated and maintained by TMS.
