The naming is SAP NetWeaver 7.03/7.31 BI Content Add-On 7.47 or SAP NetWeaver 7.03/7.31 BI Content Extensions Add-On 7.47 and SAP NetWeaver 7.3 BI Content Add-On 7.37 or SAP NetWeaver 7.3 BI Content Extensions Add-On 7.37. Implementation Considerations

BI Content and BI Content Ext. are a preconfigured set of role and task-related information models that are based on consistent metadata in SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse. BI Content provides selected roles within a company with the information that the roles need to perform their tasks.

These information models include roles, workbooks, queries, InfoSources, InfoCubes, DataStore objects, key figures, characteristics, update rules, and extractors for SAP applications.

BI Content and BI Content Ext. can:

  • be used in specific industries without the need to modify it

  • be adapted so that you can work with it to any degree of detail

  • serve as a template or as an example for customer-defined BI Content and BI Content Ext.

In addition, SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse provides you with demo content that includes example data and can be used as display material.

BI Content of SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse enables quick and cost-effective implementation. It also provides a model that that can be used as a guideline during implementation. This model is based on experiences gained from other implementations.
