Context
Object of the BRF that names and defines the data to which the rules should be applied.
A differentiation is made between the following contexts:
Complete context
A complete context comprises all data to which the rules should be applied. It is not necessary to procure other data that is not in the context.
The entire contents of a request are a typical example.
Minimal context
The minimal context comprises only that data that is required for determining the current environment.
With event 'Check Business Partner', the context is 'Business Partner'.
In a minimal case, the context just comprises the ID of the business partner. This ID is sufficient for reading all other data of the given business partner from the database or from other suitable sources.
In practice, there are mixed forms, such as when the request contains a business partner number in addition to other individual data.
The BRF provides a context concept. This enables you to define a context and to register the associated implementation with the BRF.
Assignment of Context to Event
You can assign a maximum of one context to each event.
Assignment of Context to Expression
You can assign a maximum of one context to an expression. This is only possible with expression types that procure data (in other words, those that have a procuring character).
With expression types in which the expressions are calculated, you cannot assign a context because the calculation is not dependent on the context. Here, you transfer the context by means of the subexpressions that have a procuring character.
Context Type
See Context Type.
Attributes of a Context
A context has the following attributes:
The first two sections Administrative Data and Reference Contexts are very similar in all context types.

Reference Context Section
In the Reference Context section you can define relationships between contexts.
Make the following entries:

The other sections vary, depending on the context type.
