More information: Logging On to SAP NetWeaver Mobile Administrator

Procedure

1. Adding Agents
  1. Choose the Administration tab page.

  2. Under Agent Management, choose Agent Configuration.

  3. Enter the required search criteria.

  4. Choose Start Search.

  5. From the search results, select the required agent configuration.

The details of the agent configuration are displayed.

  6. Under the Agents tab page, choose Add.

  7. Enter the name of the agent or select it from the list.

    Note Note

    • Repeat this step to add additional agents.

    • To remove an agent, choose Delete.

    End of the note.
2. Assigning Parameters to Agents
  1. Choose the Parameter IDs tab.

  2. Choose Add.

  3. In the Parameter ID field, select the required parameter ID from the list.

  4. In the Parameter Value field, select the required value from the list.

  5. To ensure that the parameter can set values, in the Set Parameter column, select True from the drop-down list.

  6. To ensure that the parameter can obtain values, in the Get Parameter column, select True from the drop-down list.

    Note Note

A parameter can set and obtain values of the attributes of a client device.

    End of the note.
  7. Based on your requirements, specify values for the following fields as explained in the table below:

    Field

    Description

    Process automatically

By default, this option is selected. This ensures that when the parameter is transferred to the device as part of the agent configuration, it is automatically executed on the device. However, if you want to provide a timeline to the device user to execute the parameter, then you can select this option and enter a date in the Last Date for Process Automatically field.

    Last Date for Process Automatically

Specify a date in this field only if you select the Process Automatically option. If the device user does not execute the parameter by the date you specify, then it is executed automatically on the device.

    Expiry date

Use this option only if you do not want the parameter to be executed automatically. Therefore, specify an expiry date only if you do not select the Process Automatically option. If you specify an expiry date, the device user can choose to execute or discard the parameter. If the user does not execute the parameter by the date you specify in this field, it is discarded automatically. In this case, a notification is sent to the Data Orchestration Engine (DOE) through the FEEDBACK data object.

    Note Note

Repeat steps 3 to 8 to add additional parameters.

    End of the note.
  8. Choose Save.
