You use this procedure to create your own entities in the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio, if the existing entities in ES Repository do not suit your needs.

Prerequisites

You have created custom entity definitions in the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio.

For more information, see Creating Custom Entity Definitions.

Procedure

  1. In the context menu of the Enterprise Services Browser view, select the required custom entity definition and choose New.

    Note Note

    You can also select any software component version or Namespace or Folder, choose Custom Entity and from the available list, select the required custom entity and choose Next.

  2. In the Create window, enter the entity name.

  3. Choose Finish.

  4. Choose Save.

  5. To assign values to custom attributes, proceed as follows:

    1. Choose Edit.

    2. Select an existing change list or choose New to create a new change list.

    3. Choose OK.

    4. In the Edit Attributes window, select the required attribute and assign values.

    5. Choose OK.
