Procedure documentation Checking Templates  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You can have the system check new templates or changed copies of SAP standard templates. The template check includes the following aspects:

      Is there a workset for the template?

      Is at least one room role assigned to each page in the workset?

      Do the parameters and iViews that are assigned to one another exist?

      Are the extensions configured correctly?

Procedure

...

       1.      Choose Content Administration Collaboration Content Room Template Administration or Room Part Template Administration.

       2.      In the context menu for the template, choose Validate.

The system checks the template and issues a log with information messages (This graphic is explained in the accompanying text), warnings (This graphic is explained in the accompanying text), and error messages (This graphic is explained in the accompanying text).

       3.      Solve any problems:

Use one of the following options:

      To clean up individual problems, select the messages in question and choose Clean Up Items.

      To clean up problems for a group of messages, choose Clean Up Group. You do not need to select any messages first.

      To clean up all reported problems, choose Clean Up All Items. You do not need to select any messages first.

Manual 

The messages contain information about solving the problem. Open the template for editing and make the required corrections.

       4.      Repeat the check until the system reports no more problems.
