Decorative UI Elements 
You want to display an extra introductory text or individual logo in your Web application, or provide a link to your company intranet. You can use decorative UI elements to do this.
Decorative UI elements are UI elements that can be added at runtime in the framework of Web-Dynpro-Built-In Customizing as extra interface components for Container UI elements (Group, Tray, TransparentContainer, ScrollContainer). This includes:
Caution
The property isDecorative, which normally cannot be personalized, can be edited if it concerns a decorative image.
Caution
The property reference, which normally cannot be personalized, can be edited if it concerns a decorative LinkToUrl. Here you can specify the URL you want to link to.
You can add a decorative UI element to any Web Dynpro application (started with sap‑config‑mode=X in administrator mode):
Call up your Web Dynpro application in administrator mode.
Place the cursor on the relevant Container UI element.
In the context menu choose Settings for Current Configuration.
At the required place in the Container UI element choose Add Decorative Element from the context menu.
Select the type of decorative element, and choose OK.
The new decorative element is added to the UI tree on the left-hand side and labeled with a predefined [Decoration].
On the right-hand side specify the properties you want for your decorative UI element.
Save your entries.
