Purpose

In this section you will find information about the SAP NetWeaver Development Infrastructure (NWDI) architecture and concepts behind the services NWDI provides.

Contains information about the NWDI architecture.

Basics of the SAP’s component model.

●      Central Source File Management

Working with and understanding the central source file management of the NWDI.

●      Central Build Management

Working with and understanding the central build services of the NWDI.

●      Using Change Management Services

Information about how to use the Change and Transport system (CTS) of the Application Server ABAP (AS ABAP) to transport Java software based on SAP’s component model with CM Services.

The CM Services are part of the change and transport system and should be used for transports in the NWDI context.
