Security
You can use Business Content in SAP Business Intelligence (SAP BI) for the SAP for Defense Forces & Public Security solution. This Business Content provides the basic key figures for deriving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for armed forces, security forces, police, and aid organizations.
The Business Content comprises the force element, material planning object, and material container objects. In addition, it contains preconfigured objects such as positions, persons, material, and maintenance orders from the Business Content for HR, MM, and PLM.
The Business Content for SAP for Defense Forces & Public Security comprises the following InfoAreas:
● Organization
● Personnel Categories
● Material Categories
● Maintenance
To be able to activate the Business Content for SAP Defense Forces & Public Security and import the data from the source system to SAP BI, you have to make the following settings:

The hierarchy extractor cannot be provided completely by a Business Content. For this reason, proceed as follows:

1. In the source system, configure the Customizing settings for the hierarchy. For more information, see the Implementation Guide in the source system.
2. Link the DataSource 0DF_IS_DFS_24 to the InfoSource for the force element (0DF_FORCE)
3. In SAP BW, adjust the transfer rules for the InfoSource in the Administrator Workbench (transaction code RSA1).
4. In SAP BW, create InfoPackages for this InfoSource in the Administrator Workbench (transaction code RSA1).

In the source system, configure the settings for the material movements using the Customizing transaction Data Transfer to the SAP Business Information Warehouse (transaction code SBIW).

In the source system, configure the material numbers using the transaction Change View “Material Number Format”: Details (transaction code OMSL).

In the source system, enhance DataSources 2LIS_08TRTLP, 2LIS_02_ITM; 2LIS_03_BF, and 2LIS_17_I3HDR using transaction LO Data Extraction: Customizing Cockpit (transaction LBWE) in accordance with SAP Note 871805.

The active version of the process chains does not contain the InfoPackage for loading 0HC_MATERIA_ATTR in 0DF_DS20.
