Object documentationPayment Currency

Currency for the amount fields of a condition that differs from the condition currency. If there is a payment currency, this takes precedence over the condition currency.

You can use the payment currency in the following conditions:

  • Charge conditions

  • Waiver conditions

  • Conditions with amount limits such as interest conditions with tiers for condition determination

Integration

The following dependencies between the condition currency and payment currency apply for the Amount Limit and Amount Limit for Complex Levels of Condition Determination fields:

  • If there is no condition currency, the payment currency applies for all amount limits.

  • If both currencies exist, the entry in the Amount Limit in Payment Currency field in Customizing determines which currency the system uses for the settlement conditions.

For more information, see Condition Currency.

As soon as you enter an amount field in a condition, the system needs at least one currency. This can be the condition currency or the payment currency. If a condition only has a payment currency, the system uses this as a cross-currency condition for a contract. For more information, see Cross-Currency Condition.
