When you create a quotation for financial services (FS quotation) you transfer to the FS quotation products for which you have defined master data. You define the special, customer-specific instance of the product in the quotation.
To be able to transfer products to an FS quotation, you have made the following settings:
You have created the products that you require in account origination.

You have made the following settings for transferring product relationships to an FS quotation:
In Customizing, you have defined that the item relationships are active for transaction type FS Quotation
and you have defined the document items for which you want to create item relationships.

To transfer product relationships that you defined in the master data to the FS Quotation
business transaction, you have defined and assigned the profiles for transferring relationships.

To be able to display item relationships in the FS Quotation
business transaction as tree diagrams, you have defined the layouts in Customizing and defined these as default values. You can also use a Business Add-In (BAdI) to adapt the layout and processing of item relationships to meet your particular needs.

You have made the following settings for transferring product bundles to an FS quotation:
To define the transfer of time-dependent settings for product bundles when product bundles are exploded in the business transaction, you define the date type for FS quotations.

.When you include a product in the FS quotation, the system represents this as an item of a particular category in the quotation.

In addition to the item categories delivered by SAP, you can create your own item categories for the FS quotation.

If you include a product bundle in the FS quotation, the system explodes the products of the product bundle as individual items in the FS quotation. At the top level, it represents the item category Product Bundle
. It represents the components of the bundle as subitems.
The system transfers the product settings that you stored using the set types in the product master data. The set types used determine whether you can change the settings in the quotation.

The system transfers the relationships that you defined for the product in the master data as item relationships in the FS quotation.
