Bulleting Board Authorizations

Authorization object CRM_BLT_UI is available for the Bulletin Board. You can use this authorization object to control which persons are allowed to create and to display bulletins. Furthermore, it enables you to create a power user role for the Bulletin Board.

Field	Description
Activity 01 — Create or generate	The user is allowed to create a bulletin.
Activity 02 — Change	The user is allowed to change bulletins. If you do not restrict the change authorization with field Change own bulletins only of this authorization object, the user is allowed to change all bulletins. Note The change activities for the Bulletin Board are restricted to adding, changing, or deleting translations and contexts. End of the note.
Activity 03 — Display	The user is allowed to display all bulletins.
Activity A8 — Process mass data	The user is allowed to create bulletins for several objects at once. You should assign this authorization to power users only.
Change own bulletins only	This field allows you to restrict the change activity (see above) to the bulletins that the user has created. To do so, enter an X. Note Enter an asterisk (*) in case you create a power user role. The power users are then allowed to change all bulletins. End of the note.
Bulletin visibility	This authorization allows you to prevent users from misuse the bulletin board. You can restrict the creation of bulletins of a specific visibility. You can assign the following values: 1 — Me 2 — My Team A — All Example A user can create only bulletins with visibility Me and My Team, if you assign the values 1 and 2. End of the example.
