For the handling of notes the following features are available.

Handling of note items
  • The notes assignment contains the following basic functions:

    • Editing of texts

    • Displaying the notes history (log)

    For this reason, you do not need to assign an additional text log assignment block to your service request overview pages.

  • For tracking the whole notes history (log), you can sort and filter the texts that are assigned to a request by several categories such as the following:

    • Type

    • Creation Date

    • Created by

    • Keyword

    • Language

    If for some notes multiple keywords are assigned, the users can enter wildcards in the custom filter to filter the notes.

  • You can personalize the size of the notes assignment block quickly with the Rows pushbutton. This simplifies editing and displaying of long texts.

  • You can simultaneously add notes even if the transaction is edited by another user (parallel text editing mode).

Hyperlinks

Even if a user is only allowed to display a note, he or she can use assigned hyperlinks to open the reference. For example, they can open a URL in the browser or in an application window.

Authorizations

With the authorization object CRM_TXT_ID, you can control which users are allowed to display or edit a text type.
