SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM) contains BI Content that you can use directly in SAP CRM without having to use a separate BW system, such as SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse (SAP BW). The BI Content in SAP CRM is the basis for CRM interactive reporting.
The following BI Content is available in SAP CRM:
Report areas defined according to business areas. Interactive reports are based on fields that are available in the context of a report area.

BEx queries. These queries are the data source for fields contained in the report areas.
