You can use the Application Enhancement Tool to translate table descriptions, field labels of fields (including fields in tables) and entries in custom dropdown lists.

Prerequisites

You have enabled the configuration mode in the general settings on the central personalization page of the WebClient UI.

Activities

You have started the Application Enhancement Tool in the application in which you want to translate field labels and entries in dropdown lists.

Translating Field Labels

You can enter the edit mode by choosing the Edit List pushbutton in the Fields and Tables block. To enter the Translation screen, click Translate. You can select additional languages for translation by clicking System Languages.

You can also translate in the Translation block in the field details and table details, which you can start by clicking the enhancement ID in the Fields and Tables block.

Translating Entries in Dropdown Lists

You can enter the edit mode by choosing the Edit List pushbutton in the Fields block. Select an entry in the Dropdown List Box column in the Fields or Tables block. To enter the Translation screen, choose the Translate pushbutton. If you want to select additional languages for translation, choose the System Languages pushbutton.

You can also translate in the Translation block in the field details, which you can start by clicking the enhancement ID in the Fields block.
