Assigning Event Types to an Object Family

Purpose

Not every event type is suitable for use with any object family. The OITF ensures that only registered event types are handled for objects of a given object family.

Process Flow

After defining and registering an event type, it must be assigned to object families where occurrences of this event should be allowed. To do this, choose in Customizing Start of the navigation path Customer Relationship Management Next navigation step Master Data Next navigation step Products Next navigation step Objects Next navigation step Object Integration Framework (OITF) Next navigation step Event Type Next navigation step Assign Event Type to Object Family End of the navigation path .

Caution Caution

OITF handles only those events that are relevant for the object family.

End of the caution.
