The history enables you to see the essential changes an object has undergone up to the present point. You can display information on all changes that have been made to its data,and former business partners that have been involved. You can see, for example, how often a car has been sold and who its previous owners were, or the previous locations of a piece of equipment.

The object history comprises the following:
Change History
This is a separate assignment block displaying a list of all changes that have been made to the attributes of the object.
It provides the following information:
The area in which the change was made. These are technically set types such as basic data, units of measure, or descriptions, and are generally separate assignment blocks, with the exception of basic data, which is incorporated in the header data.
The technical key. This is additional information identifying the object changed. In the case of sales data, for example, it gives the distribution chain ID, for multiline set types it indicates the line of the table, or for object descriptions it gives the language.
The organizational unit for changes to sales area data.
The name of the field to which the change applies.
The old and new value.
When the change was made and theuser who made it.

Partner History
Available from the
Parties Involved
assignment block, the business partner historydisplays a list of all the currently valid and previous relationships of business partners with the object concerned. The business partner could be, for example, a dealer, service provider, owner, or driver. The system displays a validity period for each relationship.
