Object documentationCondition

A contractually agreed part of a financial transaction or contract. A condition is the specific characteristic of a condition type that has a time and amount limit. The system groups conditions in condition groups.

The condition can be either standard or individual.

You define standard conditions in the area menu of your application in transaction F9COGR2 - Edit Condition Group. For more information, see Editing Condition Group.

You define individual conditions in your application, in contract editing on tab page Financial Conditions. For more information, see Editing Financial Conditions.

You use conditions to represent the financial conditions that a bank uses in its business relationship with its customers. The system uses the defined conditions, for example, to control interest and charge calculation and to post amounts during settlement. You use date conditions to represent particular dates that the system uses to determine time limits and dates such as the value date.
